Swirling Sky Was True Tornado





The ominous sky overhead late on Friday in Middletown, Conn., meant a path of destruction for towns in the state, Wethersfield and Farmington, in particular. About the time the above images were captured, a violent storm tore up trees and worked its way eastward to the Connecticut River. The National Weather Service confirmed that it was indeed a tornado weather event.
