In My Opinion, The Best Chocolate Milk, Fresh, Real and Local

Chocolate milk does not come from brown cows, as my father jokingly pointed out long ago on family excursions around Connecticut.

More than 40 years ago, dairy farms were a common sight. Not any more.

Previously, having tried chocolate milk available (nearly every brand from Connecticut to Vermont and back), I did not like the somewhat chalky flavor and would buy regular milk and add my own Hershey's syrup.

Mountain Dairy's has the rich smooth taste I love right out of the bottle, what I remember from my childhood, when my own small container of chocolate milk was a treat.

Ford F150. Ford F350s in tractor supply places. Followed closely by Chevy and GMC and Dodge. One Escalade SUV. And a very handsome F-550 custom rig in black, hauling a gooseneck full of alpacas at the recent North American Alpaca Show in Springfield, Mass.
