The eight-horse hitch strides the grounds at The Big E every single day - and the public can observe the harnessing up of each horse every step of the hitch from the rich leather horse collars bright with metal trim to the polished hames - the rigging is performed calmly in front of a crowd.

The Hallamore Corporation is the company behind the horses and the exhibit at The Big E, which continues until Sunday, Oct. 4. The company specializes in transportation, cranes, rigging and millwrighting to specialized heavy hauling. If the quality of the horses and their drivers and handlers is any reflection of the company - every tiny detail is polished, professional and even when there is a slight bobble in a rein or strap, quickly corrected. (They make it all look easy. Handling draft horses? Something not many can do, and very few as well as the handlers did in front of a sometimes noisy and jostling crowd.)
