Just the scent of horseflesh (in my opinion) is one of life's pleasures. Right now is time to get your senses filled with all things horse, from trotters and sulkies to hunter/jumpers or draft horse pulls.The Saddlebreds, Hackneys and Morgans show was last weekend, but teams and drivers from across the country and Canada square off at the premier draft horse show in the Northeast, the Big E Draft Horse Show is Sept. 24 to Sept. 27.
Beginning with a Thursday evening performance and continuing with afternoon and evening performances on Friday and Saturday, the grand finale on Sunday will feature The $30,000 BIG E Six Horse Hitch Showdown.

The ESE Horse Show wraps up with the Hunter, Jumpers & Hunt Seat Equitation, Sept. 30 to Oct. 4, featuring the USHJA Zone 1 Finals.
All horse shows are held in the coliseum including the 4-H Horse Show, which takes place Sept. 23 to Sept. 26.
The famed Hallamore Clydesdales participate in the Daily Parade and offer a "meet and greet" in Farm-A-Rama at the Stroh Building.
